BIO
Born in India, HEERA’s earliest memory of art traces back to a creative test in lower kindergarten, where a simple drawing of a blue umbrella with Camlin crayons received praise from a nursery teacher. That moment marked the beginning of a lifelong journey of curiosity, creation, and self-discovery.
For HEERA, art is not bound by a single definition. It is a meditation, a process that cultivates peace amidst the chaos of life. Every face, gesture, and interaction becomes a canvas for interpretation
“A degree is just a piece of paper—what matters is belief in your work, the patience to evolve, and the confidence gained through practice.”
Although formally awarded a BFA in Painting (2024, Amity University Kolkata), HEERA considers himself a self-taught artist, shaped more by countless hours of independent study, experimentation, and open access to the global culture of the internet. His work is deeply influenced by the democratization of knowledge online, where boundaries dissolve and creativity becomes collaborative and ever-expanding.
“Evolution of Perception”
From childhood sketches in pencil to hyperreal ballpoint pen drawings requiring immense precision and patience, 0xh33ra’s practice has continually evolved. The arrival of a home printer led to questions about the nature of art—what separates drawing from photography, and what does reproduction mean in a digital age? This inquiry led to digital art, beginning with a pen tablet and extending into explorations of software-driven creation and, most recently, artificial intelligence as a medium.
“Mediums in ART”
Each medium, for HEERA, embodies a distinct emotional register ,oil for softness, watercolor for transparency, ballpoint pen for precision, and digital tools for limitless transformation. Today, he explores the intersection of traditional practice and emerging technologies, embracing digital, electronic, and AI-assisted art as vital frontiers of contemporary expression.
“Philosophy”
Rooted in the ethos of open internet culture, HEERA believes that authenticity in art comes not from credentials but from persistence, curiosity, and the courage to create. His work reflects a constant dialogue between mediums, technologies, and evolving perceptions of what art can be.
